It's all about the planters

Updated: 1 day ago

On Wednesday we had a fab day finishing off one planter and making a completely new one too! The supporting diagonals on the legs and liner was added to the almost completed planter and we then dug some soil and biochar and mixed them together and filled the new planter. We tended the plants and fruit trees and bushes growing in fruit corner, as well as tending the seedlings in the poly tunnel. The tadpoles were fed and they are still enjoying the cucumber. Helen is delighted that a window has been added to the poly tunnel and will release some of the heat on sunny days.

We had a new potential student join us for a taster session and they enjoyed joining in our group activity of stacking the saw trolley and loppering the small branches off some silver birch.
