Charcoal burning

Today we had a very different and exciting day as it was the first charcoal burn of the year. We spent the day as a team working together to gather all the seasoned long and short logs and stacking them into the charcoal kiln. It took a few hours to stack and we then lit it and watched as they chimneys filled with smoke. The burn took 15 hours and we are keen to see how many bags of charcoal it will have made.
